Pilates: Refomer and Mat

Low impact

Strengthen and protect at the same time. Giving your joints some love through mobility and lengthening of the muscles, while still creating a long lean figure.

Core focused

All movement starts at the core, understanding how to build a strong core is the foundation to all movement. Using the principles of pilates we incorporate Breath, Control, Concentration, Centring, Precision and Flow into the classes.

Full body Dynamic Pilates

My teaching style includes traditional and modern Pilates methods, in which I add a little plyometric work with weights and equipment. Leaving you with a great session of some challenging moments yet leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Reformer Pilates

The reformer gives you the opportunity to build real strength and challenge yourself using all the pilates foundations. 1-2-1 Reformer pilates is a great way to get targeted support either to build confidence on the reformer or to really challenge yourself. Reformer is a great way of working on your body even if you have or had injuries that you need to work around.

Pilates Benefits

Lower back pain

Through building a strong core and strengthening and mobilising the back, you can use pilates to help lower back pain and keep it away.

Sports and running

Pilates is a great complement to most sports, running and gym routines. It builds the smaller supporting muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments which help you excel in your other activities.

Posture and Spine

Working on postural alignment as a foundation, pilates works through mobilising the spine and promoting a healthy posture.

Pelvic floor

As a huge Pelvic floor and core advocate, my own pelvic floor issues are what brought me to Pilates many years ago. I truly believe it is one of the best modes of exercise for women who feel they need help with Pelvic floor dysfunction weather that is Postnatally or as you approach Peri/Post Menopause.

Mental Health

My classes are designed to give you a physical challenge but also a mental break, working on breath, control and flow, creating mental space for you to just be.
